How to Make a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
Every homeowner who contacts Outsideserious Septic should get a fair and honest experience. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
Topics We Accept
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Outsideserious Septic
- How your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If the Problem Is a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own quotes, pricing, work and customer service. If you have trouble with work on your septic system, sewer line or plumbing, first raise it with the provider directly. Keep a written record.
Then tell us too. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and providers that repeatedly fall short may be removed. Note that Outsideserious Septic cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
Steps to File
Email contact@outsideserious.garden and include:
1. Your name and how to reach you 2. The date you contacted us or the provider 3. The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember 4. The provider's name, if known 5. A clear account of what happened and what you would like us to do
After You Send It
We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Next, we review what happened. That may include contacting the provider. Then we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
If You Are Still Unhappy
Reply and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about licensed plumbing or septic contractors, your state licensing board or local health department may also help.
